mt horeb

in addition to mustard (which is moving to middleton [local controversy]) mt horeb also has trolls and isaacs.

we went to the mustard museum. it was fun and free, until we hit the gift shop

I think this is where the og peeps got the plan for our house. This is just about what it looks like (no bay on the left in ours and the porch is different now) in case you were curious.

polyacrylic totally replaces spray urethane in my life. shiny and the rust on this new SVdP trunk won't get on my fancy blankets.

first house guests

we are officially moved in. we had overnight guests from chicago (konrad and ioana). we went to brunch. they served bloody mary's with a beer back, because your bloody mary needs a morning chaser. then we went for a hike.

chairs (continuing saga)

I am still trying to figure out what to do with these chairs and this grand entryway....

the movers thought this box indicated we would like madison.

isaac and ari/arnold (but not art) should buy this

this is a regular feature of my blog. property in WI, isaac and ari should buy to be nearer to their roots...and to me. (for those in the know...this is on Willy St. right across from the Co-op.)

secret garden

I unearthed a secret passage in my backyard! can't wait to open it!!! I have never wanted a crowbar (and possibly more strength) so much! I will keep you posted.

ps. I think I know what it is and it does not contain poo...
